is Oxo or Pampered chef salad spinner better?

I see that there are two different brands and they look similar but pampered chef seems to have more with their offer. BUT, which one works best? Which is the better one out of the Oxo salad spinner and the Pampered chef berry and salad spinner?
please tell me why you pick the one you do as best. And thank you for your help!
it also seems that there are different sizes. Which do you have?

Chosen Answer:

Interestingly enough I got the Oxo salad spinner about 6 months ago and just love it! I even use it to clean mushrooms. Once you spin/dry the salad the bowl is perfect to serve the salad in right on the table.

It works perfectly!

What is the best reel for casting light lures (1/8oz spinners mainly)?

What would be the best reel between 50-250$ that would be ideal for trout fishing with 4lb test, and 1/8oz lures. I need whichever reel will cast those tiny spinners the farthest. Which would you choose for this ? (please include specific model names or links so I know exactly which reel your tallking about) thanks alot everyone. I really appreciate the advice

Chosen Answer:

There are many good reels in that price range.

And you will probably get many different good answer’s.

Here’s my pick:

Number 1- For years I would only use 2 different company’s for freshwater Spinning reels- Shimano & Daiwa. I wanted the “best” and Shimano & Daiwa always delivered.

BUT, in the last 2-3 years I’ve had tremendous luck with the newly designed Pflueger line of Spinning reels. Currently, they have a great line of spinning reels with the “Supreme” as their flagship model.

I own the Supreme and find it to be as good, (if not BETTER), than anything Daiwa or Shimano has made in that price range. In my opinion, the Supreme is as good as any Shimano Stradic (http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_96667____SearchResults ) or Daiwa Sol (http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_74466____SearchResults ).

Here are some links so you can view the Supreme and READ the REVIEWS:

Pflueger Supreme- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_94739____SearchResults

You would want the 8025 size for Trout.

47 people give this reel a 4.8 out of 5.

You can purchase a more expensive reel like a Shimano Stradic, Daiwa Sol, Daiwa Steez, Shimano Stella, Etc- but your best “bang for your buck” reel IS the Supreme.

That’s my 2 cent’s. Hope it helps ya? Good luck in your search.

should i stay in colorguard? can you take the time to read this please?

so basically my feelings towards it are completely burnt out. i used to enjoy it but now its just getting annoying and frustrating. Most importantly not fun to me anymore. I don’t even think i ever thought it was.
my main problems are that we have a small guard. like less than 13 small. And they think of me one of the best spinners With the most potential and easiest person to teach work to. And everyone is older than me, they’re all mostly juniors with one softmore and im the freshman because the rest of them quit while they could.

Another thing is i have one of those bitter guards that will hate you and take it up the butt if you quit WILL NOT UNDERSTAND.and i will see each one of them everywhere i go for most of my high school life because for some stinking reason we are some how together through something.
don’t get me wrong i like teammates its just that they get really upset when someone quits because tiny guards often look like shit compared to any guards with more people. at least to them.
Also im sure every guard has that one person who is just completely in love with it and says its their life and is the best at everything. Well that girl in my team will harass the fuck out of me if i quit, i know because shes done so to everyone who has.
i really don’t wanna do Guard anymore even i may be really good at it, these past two seasons have been hell for me.
its just i get really sad when i see other dance teams at school who actually get appreciated for their hard work actually having FUN, it makes me wanna cry. our WHOLE team isn’t recognized for our hard work even though we do pretty good at competitions. Even our band director doesn’t cut us any slack, but i here that’s how it is with most guards anyway, but still.
Sometimes i wonder what it would be like on drill team or cheer.
ONE MORE THING. Also me being on the team is kinda breaking the stereotype for guard, which i enjoy doing because it shows that not all guard members are what people usually say a guard is.

If your not happy, dont stay. Lifes too short to do anything you hate.

These can be used anywhere and are very versatile. Try fishing them in cover, along the bank, and on overcast days, just throw them straight out and rel them up fast.

Roostertail

I usually fish these along rocky banks, or use them when trolling.

Beetlespin

I use these in shady areas and around logs and stumps.

Rocket Shad

Throw this one anywhere it won’t get hung up and hold on.

Mr. Crappie crappie jigs

Fish around cover with these and if there are crappie, they will bite it.

During the hot part of the summer, Fish early in the morning (sunrise to 10AM) and late in the evening (7PM to 10PM). Right before a bad thunderstorm is the best time to catch fish. Full moon works good, too.Early spring try fishing noon to late evening. Fall, whenever the suns up. Winter, any time you can get out without freezing to death.
