is Oxo or Pampered chef salad spinner better?

I see that there are two different brands and they look similar but pampered chef seems to have more with their offer. BUT, which one works best? Which is the better one out of the Oxo salad spinner and the Pampered chef berry and salad spinner?
please tell me why you pick the one you do as best. And thank you for your help!
it also seems that there are different sizes. Which do you have?

Chosen Answer:

Interestingly enough I got the Oxo salad spinner about 6 months ago and just love it! I even use it to clean mushrooms. Once you spin/dry the salad the bowl is perfect to serve the salad in right on the table.

It works perfectly!

Chosen Answer:

This it the story of the Biggest fish I have ever caught on one of the the mentioned spinners.

Setting: I’m 14 years old at my Grandfathers cabin on Big Lake one hour outside of Anchorage Alaska.

Well it is summer time up here and there is no getting up at the break of dawn for the morning feeding of fish. It never really gets dark up here in the summer months more like dusk and then the sun starts to come up again. So I head out about 6am and it is already bright out and the sun is already up over the horizon. I get in the boat and head over to nice cove where water from the lake discharges into a stream and start throwing a white body rooster tail with a silver blade out into the cove hooking some nice rainbows almost every third or fourth cast for about 20 to 30 min and it starts to slow down. So I decide to try another spinner and pull out my Mepps #0 and swap it out with the rooster tail. I Cast back out into the cove again and BAM where back in action nailing 16 – 20 inch rainbows every few casts. Then again it starts to slow down and bites farther and farther apart. Well a lure swap worked last time lets see if it will work again so I decide to put on the all chrome Blue Fox #1 and fire another cast out into the cove. Yet again I hook into another nice rainbow feeling like I have walked into a sort of fishing Heaven with a grin that had to be from ear to ear I continue to fish the Blue fox for another 30 to 40 min when started to slow down again. This time I decide to put on the yellow with red spots Panther Martin. I cast my line back into the cove, the spinner hits the water and I start my nice smooth retrieve letting the lure stay down deep feeling the slight vibration of the spinner and then WHAM the quick heart stopping jerk of a monster hit. I jerk back on the rod setting the hook and line starts screaming off my reel and I realize I have just hooked into one hell of a fish. It charged all the way down to the end of the chanel made a U turn and raced towards me. As my line fell slack my heart dropped as I raced to the front of the boat Reeling as fast as i could to pick up the slack in the line. Close and closer i see the line coming in and then I pause for just a second and watch the line where it meets the water. Movement ! The line starts to make a V in the surface as the fish pulls the last of the slack out of the line and heads for deeper water i lean back and put the pressure of the rod back on him. Bam he takes of in another explosive run all I can do is keep my rod straight up in the air and put some finger pressure on the spool as this lunker strips line off my reel. Back and forth we go for what had to be a good 20 to 30 min. He is getting tired and I know it so I put the pressure on lean back then reel in lean back then real in again and again and he is coming in. He in not far of now I almost have you I think to my self and then it happens. He gives a monstrous tug and bends his entire body as he snaps his head the opposite direction he is being pulled causing me to bend forward drop the rod tip some and then I see him a bright two and a half foot flash of sliver kicking back and forth trying to spit that hook. My heart soars as I slowly pull him up from the deep water and get my net handy. Then as I hold my rod in one hand I get the net ready in the other. As he comes up and breaks the top of the water I make a hail mary shot at him with the net and I get him. I lift up and pull in a monster rainbow that had to be at least 36 inches and 15 pounds. It was one of the best summers of my life me and the wild waters of Alaska.
