t20 wc 2010 previews of each team by me(non biased)?

the t20 world cup 2010 will be extremely tough because evryteam looks in very good form and all teams have vey good players

afghanistan:
they will definetely not win this year because its their first world cup and they are a new team

ireland:
ireland wont win because they dont have any good bowlers

zimbabwe:
zimbabwe have a chance of getting into the super eight because they have over 7 spinners and spinners are very usefull in t20 because of their econimy rate. they dont have any good seamers or any good batting though

bangladesh:
bangladesh are a very good team and they are really good in t20 because they have loads of spinners( spinners mostly dont give too many runs) and they have a very strong batting line up. but the biggest problem with bangladesh is that they are in the toughest group.

south africa:
south africa have a chance because they have one of the best fielding, they have good seamers, good batsmen but their spinners are rubbish

india:
india have a very strong batting line up and but their bowling is very bad and their fielding needs to improve.

west indies:
west indies have a great chance of winning because of home advantage. they have a good batting line up with the likes of gayle and pollard. their fast bowling is extremely deadly at home and their main spinner ( suliemen benn) is in good form so they are likely to get in the semi finals

sri lanka:
they have a very good chance because they are a very good allround team in t20. they have the best opening pair in t20 ( dilshan and jayasury) but after sangakara theyre middle order is weak. they have one of the best bowling with the likes of mendis and very good pace bowling with malinga and kulasekkera.

new zealand:
newzealand look are also favs becuase they are a very similar team to sri lanka; they have very good batting with the likes of brendon mccullum and ross taylor and their pace bowling is very good with the likes of shane bond and tim southee. they also have one of the best spinner ( daniel vettori)

australia:
australia look really strong aswell with one of the best fielding but their batting is weak in t20s. their pace bowling is their speciality in t20 with the likes of shaun tait, dirk nannes, brett lee and mitchell johnson but they have weak spinners. in my opinion they should have put shane warne instead of nathan hauritz even though warne is like 40.

england:
england have a very good chance of winning an in my opinion they are they best allround team in t20 with one of the best fielding, one of the strongest batting with the likes of morgan, kp and colling wood. they also have one of the best bowling line up and they have one of the best spinners of right now ( grame swanne)

pakistan( my team):
pakistan are one of the favs with very good batting with the likes of afridi, young umar akmal , misbah and razzaq and we have the strongest bowling line up with the likes of umar gul muhammad asif and young muhammad amir. we also have the best spinning pair in t20 ( and odis) saeed ajmal and shahid afridi.

pakistan will win the t20 wc 2010 inshallah.

Math homework probability spinner help?! 10 POINTS for BEST ANSWER?

What is the theoretical probability of not getting a match on a 3 equal section spinner in 2 spins? 10 points!

Chosen Answer:

You have 100% chance of getting a number on the first spin. On the second spin you have one chance in three in matching it. You have two chances in three of not matching it.

why do people think Murali chucks when the same council which allows him to play in the first place?

is the same one that cleared him? I hate it when people, especially Australians, call him a chucker. just because he is beating Warnie… Warnie’s the best leg spinner, Murali the best off spinner. simple.

Chosen Answer:

You’re right, i think you know allot about Cricket and it’s rules
See bro, there are many reasons for why people say Murali chucks…

1- They are blind
2- They dont know the rules of ICC
3- They are jelous
4- They dont like him
5- Because he is dark
6- Because he is a Srilankan
7- Because he is a Hindu
8- Because he is the best
9- Because shane warne doesnt like him
10- Because he is not playing for their team
11- Because Aussies dont like him
12- Because great batsman’s find difficult to face his deliveries
13- Because he is a quick wicket taker
14- Because he is a legend… etc…

It will keep on going, there will definitely be satans around you when you’r coming up well very fastly.

But, what ever said or done, MURALI is always the best.
He rules…
He rock…
HE IS THE GREAT…

Congrats Murali…
MAY GOD BLESS THE SMILING LEGEND FOREVER

What is the best field set up for an off spinner?

What is the most suitable field set up for an off spinner in a limited over game (20 to 50 over game)

Chosen Answer:

Depends on if the track is a turner and what your usual line of attack is. If you bowl an offstump line with the ball turning in a smidgeon, I would recommend the following with the 9 fielders available to you (10th being the WK, 11th being you):

1) First slip (for the one that goes straight on)
2) Short 3rd man
3) Fine leg
4) Long on
5) Long off
6) Midwicket
7) Point 8) Backward point
9) Short extra cover

Indoor Cricket tips greatly needed, 10 points best answer!?

Hi

I am going to play my first indoor cricket game tomorrow and really want to win :)

What are some tips for indoor cricket that’s different to outdoor cricket?

I can bowl any type. What style is best? Spinner or Fast?

With fast bowling, they might get a better chance to hit a 4 but with slow bowling, they have to create their own pace….

What do you think?

And also when you bat, how should you try to score runs? Go for singles or smash 4/6′s? You and your partner only bat for 4 overs anyway….

Also should I pitch the ball up in chance of yorking batsmen or should i bounce it short in hope of a catch?
So Liam by your advice, I’ll ball good to short length and bat using a straight drive for 4′s. Slogs are a stupid way to get boundaries when you can just simply do a frontfoot or backfoot drive.

Do you think Graeme Swann is the best spinner in the world at the moment?

http://www.cricinfo.com/bdeshveng2010/engine/current/match/426423.html

Congrats for England’s victory against Bangladesh

G Swann took 10-217 against Bangladesh. His first 10 wicket haul in test matches. He seems to be a spinner who can adapt to all conditions just like Vettori at present.

From last year he has been in exceptional form with the ball for England.
Do you think he is the best spinner in the world at the moment in Test matches?

Chosen Answer:

You’ve hit the nail again Shiva. That’s what I have been saying all these months. He can spin the ball on the flattest of pitches, has a very delightful & energized action & he also has the knack of picking wickets in the first over of a new spell. His drifting ball is as dangerous or even better than the modern doosra. His batting, fielding & cheery attitude are also a big plus for the English team.Swann along with Pietersen & Morgan have revolutionized modern English cricket in all 3 formats.

Prem-Kumble took 10 wickets in 1 innings(along with Laker).Hundreds have taken 10 wickets in a match.

-I can’t understand why comparisions are being made with Warne,Kumble & Murali. The question clearly states at the moment.

Neilithic-Hauritz may have a better average but you can’t forget the opposition.Swann played against India & South Africa while Hauritz picked most of his wickets against a T-20 Pakistani side playing test cricket & a weak West Indian one.Swann was instrumental for drawing the series against S.A.
Hauritz also got most of his wickets due to errors made by the hard hitting test batsmen while Swann had to literally earn every wicket.
Dan hasn’t bowled well in the last 12 months while the Indians recently massacred Murali.
