For me it’s Derek Underwood
He was a left-arm spinner, with deadly accuracy. Underwood was the King of exposing uncovered pitches. He didn’t spin the ball a great deal, but like Daniel Vettori he used little variations of pace and bowling with great intelligence.
His record of 297 wickets is the most by far of any English spinner, and the 297 wickets came at a very respectable average of 25.
