Do you expect important leaders to lie?

I’ve grown accustomed to hearing lies from leaders representing large banks, drug companies, insurance companies, financial institutions, food companies, congress, multi-national corporations, military industries, government agencies, and mass media. Our universities seem to take pride in producing the best liars/deceivers/spinners in Public Relations and Marketing. Our economy rewards these people excessively.

Have most people in the US come to expect leaders to make deliberately misleading statements?

Chosen Answer:

Lying is how you get things done.

Are c0nservative Republicans the best spinners/liars in the world?

They even had me believing that Barney Frank was the one that kept congress from regulating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. They say it so much I just believed it. Finally I started researching it and found out the truth.
Oh if you are interested in who stopped the Fannie Mae/Freddi Mac bill in the Republican Senate you can google. HR 1461

Chosen Answer:

Yes.

Although…. even more important that the spinning and the lying is the fact that even when confronted with irrefutable data which rebukes their lies and distortions…..

……they continue to sling the same old $hit.

That’s just wrong.
