Sachin played confidently,he was unlucky in the second innings and misjudged in the first but the way he batted you can see he was not worried about the bowling.The biggest surprise for me was the way Ganguly and Dravid faced the two spinners.They had no clue and Ganguly is on par with Lara and Tendulkar when it comes to playing the spinners.Plus he is a leftie which should have made it easier for him.
I’d give anything to see Lara playing both Murally and Mendis.I’d reckon Lara would’ve gotten a 50.
I don’t know why the Indian guns are not firing…..they ‘ve already tackled Murali before, why are they not able to do the same this time! I think, the seniors ‘ve enough experience to perform well….Dada and Dravid, both were expected to perform well but what has happened to them? Dravid is “The Test Player”, then why isn’t he performing? I think the Indian seniors ‘ve lost the charm they used to ‘ve in the past!
And yes, Murali is “The best Spinner” of all times. I ‘ve always admired him and will keep on doing the same.

What has surprised me is the attitude of the team. I could not have imagined senior players throwing away their wickets and then Dravid in the second innings, did not walk even when he knew that he clearly knicked the ball and Mahela has gone for the review. This is something I did not associated with Rahul Dravid

Murali is a very good spinner. Facing him must be hard that is why so many great batsman cant play him very well especially his style of releasing the ball could confuse anybody.

That was some of the worst shot-making by the Indians in the history of Test cricket on one of the worst cow paddocks I`ve ever seen masquerading as a cricket pitch. Cadel Evans could spin the ball side ways on that pitch !!. Murali has the best and loudest fan club of all time and that`s about all. Maybe the best chucker in cricket history.
